Dear Towers Resident:
We are attaching for your review a current copy of the Towers Condominium Rules, which govern the conduct of all unit owners, tenants and their guests.
We would like you to pay special attention to rule 1.17 as we are re-initiating a system, which will require all residents to register their vehicles with the office. A parking tag will be issued to all residents, which must be prominently displayed on the vehicles windshield. Parking must be in assigned unit parking spaces under the carports with secondary registered vehicles making use of any open uncovered parking space. For safety reasons temporary parking passes will be required of any overnight guests. Failure to comply with any of the aforementioned will result in a warning for fist offenses and possibility of having the vehicle towed at owners expense for subsequent violations. Additionally under 1.29 Pool Rules, we will be requiring that all residents and guests be in possession of a Pool Pass, which can also be picked up by providing proof of residence to the office.
It should be apparent to you that this Board has begun taking strides to make the Towers a safer and cleaner place to reside. We have established many lofty goals to be accomplished in a very short time frame to return the Towers to its former condition. Currently we have been working very diligently with our insurance carrier and Belfor, our general contractor, to complete work on the fire units early this spring. Additionally, we have formalized a contract to have the concrete restoration work completed in an expeditious time frame. We have also contracted to complete electrical projects inclusive of re-activation of the elevator located in the Northeast corner of the building. As an aside, we have already installed new lights in the carports and replaced all walkway lights with new globes and are in the process of adding 50 additional lights to the building enhancing safer walkway lighting. In addition we will be replacing the dumpster doors with fire rated doors, replacing all missing and rusted carport panels, and trimming every tree, bush and flower bed on the property.
Progress is being made here at the Towers and will continue and we would appreciate your help by following the rules and helping our maintenance people by not littering and by being respectful of everyone else’s right to live in a clean and safe environment. We are adamant in our approach to enforce the rules and have empowered each of our Board and Committee members to approach anyone who in their opinion is in violation of proper conduct. Together we can all make the Towers a place we are all proud of and we appreciate your cooperation in this pursuit.
Very truly yours,
The Towers Board of Directors |
